Our Company is one of the largest Indigenous petroleum marketing companies in Nigeria, We are located in Lagos with different regional offices across the country. We are currently recruiting qualified and result oriented candidate for our lubricants plant for immediate start.
Position: Safety Officer
Requirements:
- The successful candidate must have first degree / HND Chemistry orPhysical Sciences with experience in safety management
- Must be effective in introduction and implementation of HSE policy and procedure.
- Prepare/ review job Hazard Analysis for all job functions.
- Regularly Inspect plants and work performance for unsafe acts/conditions.
- Initiate response plans for fire, spillages etc.
- Must be able to evaluate hazardous conditions, and recommends engineering controls, administrative controls, and/or personal protective equipment.
- Collects, analyzes and maintains data essential for effective safety and environmental programs
- Must conduct regular safety audits of the Plant including the inspection of facilities, worksites equipment work practices, and safety devices to ensure compliance with required workplace safety standards, regulations, and Plant policy.
- Aged between 25-30

- Excellent in problem solving , analytical and organizational skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Tools (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
